Skates, in plain words

Skates are small, strong trolleys that slide under a wheel and lift it just clear of the ground. Put them under the wheels that will not turn, and the car rolls on the skates instead.

That is how a car with a seized brake or a flat tyre still gets moved a few feet to where the truck can reach it, without dragging rubber across your drive.

And the winch

The bed tilts down and the winch pulls the car up it, slowly and under control. There is no push-starting, no coasting, and nobody needs to sit in it steering.

Once it is up, it is strapped down and it travels flat. The same equipment does an emergencyrecovery and a plannedtransport job — the difference is only whether it is today or a date you choose.

Tight driveways and low garages are worth mentioning early. We would rather know before we arrive than work it out in front of you.
